Superior...Eastern Lake Superior and Western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon over western Lake
Superior and across all of Lake Superior tonight. East to
northeast gales of 35 to 40 knots are expected tonight across west
and north central Lake Superior. Southeast to south gales to 40
knots are expected late tonight into Wednesday morning across
south central and eastern Lake Superior. See the latest Open Lake

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Southwest gales to 45 knots are expected over west and north

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and
  waves 5 to 8 ft expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Central and Eastern Lake Superior.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
